In the Crossfire -

Critical Infrastructure in the Age of Cyber-war

In most developed countries, critical infrastructure is connected to the Internet and can lack proper security functions, leaving these installations vulnerable to attacks. Without the appropriate protection combined with the current lack of preparedness, an attack on these infrastructures would be detrimental and will cause more destruction than any previous cyber attacks. In the crossfire – Critical Infrastructure in the Age of Cyber-War analyses these trends and issues, and provides a global report on the threats and issues facing companies and governments providing critical infrastructure.

Commissioned by McAfee, the report was written and researched by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) who also consulted dozens of experts worldwide. The research surveyed 600 hundred IT and security executives from critical infrastructure enterprises across seven sectors in 14 countries all over the world.
